Kayak Tournaments?

Being that I have been in TX for quite a while, I'm out of the loop of what's going on.
Does anyone know of any upcoming kayak tournaments? Mainly tournaments near San Diego. (Driving up to Newport and other places up north are a bit tough when it takes a C note to fill up my truck :shot:)
