Awesome dad! My daughter just graduated from high school last night. Time does fly by, so cherish those moments.

That is awesome!!!!! both my girl and boy are right at that age. Haven't yet received the picture of daddy on his "pirate boat" but absolutely nothing beats the huge hugs you get when you walk in the door.........especially after a long day on the water after being skunked.

that is very cool......my daughter was born 7 years ago today and i can't believe how time flies by.
i remember when she was around that age, i really enjoyed that stage. they are still small enough to be so precious and the things they do you can't get too mad about.
now, my daughter tells me that she is too lazy to do her homework or that she forgot to do it. things like that i can do without. but she is still the apple of my eye. maybe that is why she can tell me things like that knowing i can't stay mad at her.
enjoy your kids at this age frank. you'll soon miss it.

Yup, being a Dad can be pretty cool at times. The things they can come up with when you don't raise them on video games.

It happens in a heart beat...put that picture some place safe for years of
heart felt enjoyment, and when you come home, a few years from now and they are both out doing their own thing, and you come home empty handed from
fishing, pull that picture out I will tell you it will make smile and feel much better...I have some pictures just like that, which I refer back to when needed...mine are now 21 and 18...those pictures were drawn "just a heartbeat ago"...:reel:

You need to ask her what kind of fish that is.

My daughter did a drawing of us with fish and the fish was a shark. Guess what I ended up catching a few days later?

Gotta love your kids. I've had a couple drawing with me on my yak, but never catching a fish. Maybe if I didn't CPR they'd have more faith.

Just like reading the Bible---it's all up to your interpretation of the script.

My interpretation isn't that she thought you were actually going to catch something, but that you should drive an hour an a half South; and fish with a large Greenback Mackerel for bait.
