Anybody fish for calico or yellowfin from a decked SINK sea kayak?

I'm a New England angler trying to get a handle on the West Coast kayaking fishing scene. There's lots of SOT fishermen here, and many SINKers, but the ratio of former to latter is about ten to one.

Long SINKS (16'6"+) are fast and can handle incredibly rough water but are tough to load with multiple rods and fishfinders.

If you're a SINKER, I'd like to hear about how you guys rig and run offshore for Ca. and Baja species.

If you want to see some east coast SINK rigs and their peculiarities, I've got lots of info at http://paddlingtravelers.blogspot.com/2006/06/three-lures-for-sea-kayak-fishing.html

Badman, Welcome to the left coast. Feel free to post a fish report, we are all fishing fanatics. We only have one regular that kills em in a SIK.......I'd like to have one in my fleet someday, hope to make my own. That water looks like some that I thought I could not manage at the SD rivermouth. Maybe I can.
