Since I'm not much for Texas holdem, and we're allowed upgradeable submissions, I'm going to show "1" of my cards early :)
Caught on bait, 39", 32lbs.
I was real leary of the weight after seeing so many 39" YT come in lighter, so I weighed it on two different scales to verify.

32 lb (yes, I zero'd out the scale from the tare of the container)

So here we are half way through the month of June. Guess it's time to play my second card.
BTW - when do we play our third card? 11:58 pm on June 30? :)

The story ... oh yeah, the part about no other kayak's out there.
There were these two shady characters in yaks heading out as I was heading in. But I don't think they were fishing, I think they were just peddling around for exercise :D

And here it is

....
NOT!

But not for lack of trying. That damn Halibut .... grrrr....
Somewhere around 25-30 hours just in this month searching for my butt.
One last effort today ended with
~ 1/2 dozen short butts
~ Dozen lizard fish
~ 3 Sandies
.... but I just couldn't find the Halibuts mamma.
Oh yeah .... caught one other fish today, a Sculpin, and how did my day end? Peddling into shore in pain after the damn Sculpin stung me.... damn that hurts!
The good thing about WCW is that I went in search of a Halibut. If not for WCW, I would probably limit my fishing to YT & WSB, so I do appreciate that.
Bad thing about WCW, I will probably still go for YT & WSB first and leave the HAlibut for last, since they have been such a challenge for me, and I have more confidence in putting points on the board with YT & WSB.
