We had 28 fish submitted in the month of August. There were 2 white seabass caught. Arne got a 21 pounder.

I got my 32 pounder, after a long dry spell. It was worth the wait :D

There were 12 halibut submitted. Keith caught a 24 pounder, good for 3rd place in the Steve Moyer Memorial Tournament. Keith's fish was also the 3rd biggest halibut submitted this month.

Todd got one that went 28 pounds. When he gaffed it, it coughed up the smaller one in his right hand :lol:

Gabe was the king of the flat ones, just shy of 30 pounds.

There were 14 yellowtail, well some looked like yt, only smaller. One was missing the part that most of us enjoy eating.
Arne got a chunky 24 pounder, trolling in his Chevy. Does that count. :D

Mark should have entered the LJKF tourney, When I saw his fish on the beach I thought I was in trouble. 28.9 pounds of fight.

Randy's yellowtail was just a bit bigger than Mark's at 29.5#

Congratulations to this months highliner. Randy Russ submitted 2 halibut and 2 yellowtail for 101 points. Way to go Randy!

We are only 2/3 of the way and I am betting on some changes in the top of the leaderboard in the month of September. Good fishing all!
