I am looking at picking up a few new rods for my spinning reels.
I currently have them on some Crowder rods I got while living in Florida, they are in the 12-25lb range.
I have (2) Shimano Spheros spinning reels (5000 and 8000) one with 30lb and one with 50lb Sufix braid. I also have a new Okuma Coronado 55a bait runner with 50lb braid. All the reels have 300 yards(+or-) of braid with 30 lb floro leaders.
I will more then likely leave the Spheros 5000 on one of the Crowder 12-25lb rods for bassin in the kelp, The other 2 need new sticks. 20-40 or 20-50lb seem to be the popular rods for YT.
So I guess I am now in the market for 20-40 or 20-50 spinning rods. I have been looking around and found quite a few in quite a few different price ranges. I fully understand that "You get what you pay for" but I was looking at the Ulgy sticks "Tiger" line $50-$60 range, and they seam to be all the rage in most reviews.
I would like to throw some of the lighter irons as well as live bait. Any recommendations on other spinning rods to look at under the $100 each range??
Thanks in advance,
-Jay
