If commercial lobster season doesnt open for a week, why are traps everywhere? Is this permitted?

Commercial was allowed to drop traps on Thursday 9/29.

I believe they are allowed to drop empty traps early without bait to
'hold/mark their spots'.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that give away their best spot. I'll make sure I drop my hoop net next to their spot with my special bait. :luxhello:

I suggest NOT being seen.

Actually I am kidding,I wouldnt do it at all.They put bricks in there and they are heavy as hell.Besides the major ass whoopin you would get if you got caught.
