already bought the nets but good idea. i work at a fishing tackle store so i get everything at just about wholesale price.:D

I used the say the same thing until I borrowed a welder and started pretending I knew what I was doing. Since then I've taken every single 36" hoopnet (flats & eclipse) and turned them into 32" ambush hoopnets. The welds on the first few looked like crap but after a little grinding and rust from use you'd never know they were handmade. Well, except for the fact that some of them aren't quite round but they're pretty damn close.
