Heading up to fish Big Kelp Reef for one last time before the MLPA closes the area. Got a couple guys going with me and anyone wanting to join is more than welcome.
Plan on launching at Esco around 0600

I'd tell you I'm going but then someone would have to kill me :biggrinjester:
If it's slow try outside the kelp for halibut. Large sardines or five to six inch smelt on the bottom trapped or heavy plastics right on the sand. Some big Moma's out there right now, 30 and 40 class fish so don't be afraid to fish big baits. Good luck!!!

Esco's got small surf all week 1.5 feet at 12 seconds Thursday. Might be some wind out of the North at sunup but should settle down and be a beautiful day with temps in the low 70s.

PCH to Esco or Zuma.
Zuma is rated a 1ft on Thursday you can pretty much launch anywhere you want to
. No hot bite info from me, but there are always fish around BKR. Big butts in the fall and winter, C-bass in the spring and other fish year around. That's why it sucks that they are closing it down. I'm certainly going to miss that place :(

Coxtanker sent you a PM.
We are launching out of Esco but Jim is right the surf predictions are in our favor so Zuma would be a nice launch also.
Only 3 of us going for sure tomorrow, all are welcome to come share a beer with Pt Dume.
