My Cobra Explorer had a little crack on the back, water did get in after Monday morning in Newport.
So i got some repair material from Cobra, going to use solder iron and fill the crack, but after i was reading the instruction from Cobra, its saying.
"IF YOU ARE REPAIRING A CRACK, YOU WILL FIRST NEED TO “V” THE OPENING OF THE CRACK TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE INSIDE OF THE CRACK."
I really not sure what is "V" the opening of the crack means........do i first use iron to open the crack and fill it back with the material?

To "v" is to cut down into the crack at an angle on both sides of the crack as to make a V, yes you are making a larger (but not much) area as to allow the bond to penatrate, check with someone in the know though,
I have plastic welded cracks around handles and such, I guess it depends on the location of the crack and how large of an area I know Cobras are pretty thin in some spots...:reel:
