maiden voyage Thursday. anyone interested?

Planning on making my first salt water fishing trip on the yak this Thursday 1/19 either at DP or any other recommended spots in orange county(newport,hb?).

Since this is my first time going out I wanted to see if anyone planned on fishing Thursday (anywhere in OC) so I won't be alone on the water. I'd really appreciate the company and look forward to seeing a fellow BWE member out on the water! :reel:

I was just down there on sat/sun...I am sure someone will be hitting it tomarrow, lots of harbor to fish if you are not confident of going outside,
I would recomend fishing the bait barge area and drift up toward the opening, but if you are comfortable...Doheney isn't too far....just use your best judgement, watch for traffic and keep an eye on the boat wakes you will be fine...good luck out there and have fun:reel:
