Congrats Brian! That's the right way to break in the new ride. Great looking yak by the way.
Man, I recognize that new promar net and Gopro setup. Your wife was right George, that buff makes you look a lot better. Covers up just enough. :D

Wow, that game clip bent quite a bit under the weight of that halibut. I would never know that myself since my fish never break into the double digits.

My $5 clip works just fine. The only mistake that I made was letting the gaff slide out of its belly.

Its aluminum....that's why it bent so easily. Nonetheless, I got it at Home Depot

I must say fishing out of a Hobie is pure joy!!!!! Thanks for all the encouragement to join the Hobie family....and to top it off and catch a 10lb 31in Halibut on the Maiden Voyage!!!! Guess the Orange Aventurine color is really good luck...
