Hey guys,
So I had some difficulty unloading my malibu pro 2 last week and...well long story short my kayak slid off the side of my 4runner and cracked my taillight.
My question to you guys is: what would be the best way to load and unload my kayak? any tips? Thanks in advance! ;)
(*note: I have an oem roof rack already installed on my 4runner and I have no problem transporting my kayak. I just need some guidance on how to safely load and unload by myself)

I don't know if it is in here but a guy from Australia filmed a loading technique with an Adventure Island, one man loading off the top of an SUV with a precut length of rope tied to the rear of the yak which served as a guide as to how far to pull the yak off the car and set it down, then grip the yak from the front, which is still on the car, and thats it seemed to work really well and easy:reel:

If money isn't an issue, check out the Thule Hullavator. All you have to do is get the yak about waist-high. A buddy of mine had this on his truck rack and it was sweet.

Another option you can go with is the Thule Slipstream. I have it on my Acura RDX and it makes loading and unloading my Pro Angler easy. I have it mounted on my factory crossbars.

I think this would be my best option. Can you load your kayak upside down with this? And how much did you pay for yours? Thanks!

the cheapest Thule Slipstream I found online was $216 but I'm gonna try finding a used one first.

YouTube has a bunch of videos about loading Kayaks, and many other Kayak related things. Most of all be safe and careful. No need to hurt yourself while loading and unloading.
