Well today I got my top wisdom pulled out. Laying in bed with so much pain. I had to do something. So I grab some 550 cord and started a little arts and craft project.

next is going to be a nav light on the yak.

Izorline. I got it for 3 dollar something.
If you look at the bottom of the handle is a loop to strap down to my gear. So I don't' loose it.

How much for your time ;). Look great!

What brand are those cutters? I bought some that look exactly like that a few months ago, they met saltwater and that was all she wrote.

Not the same kind, but the same outcome

Now, I'm just rocking the Shimano's

Try CorrosionX; I bet it makes them work better than new.

nice wrap looks killer

these work great! over eight months old and still corrosion free. great for cutting braid. they have never been oiled or pampered and they are holding up. had the snips too but they dont hold up as well as the pliers.
little pricey but was tired of all my dikes and pliers rusting out only after a couple trips.

have the same ones. it is very useful and low on maintenance. the cool part is that there is a retractor built in.

-echo1er that is some nice work. i need to learn how to tie knots like that. i have some "craft projects" too that i want to do.....

I was wondering how a cobra stitch would work on dykes, looks nice....

On Plier brands, You guys should pony up 20.00 for Channel Locks. they will rust but they will never seize to a point you cant break them. Lube up with saltwater and eventually they break in to not seizing at all. They are pretty much the only thing youll find on a deckhands hip. the edge will stay sharp and for how much most you guys will use them they will cut Braid for a good bit of time.
