Finally, after ages of searching I bit the bullet and have gone over to the dark side! Thought I would share my new toy, I am naming it "El Borrachito" (The Little Drunkard) The only thing I have to do to it is add a bow mounted trolling motor.
But don't worry, I still plan to fish La Jolla from my Hobie. My new Whaler is for the bays and lakes... but after being spoiled on a bass boat I just can't fish for large mouths sitting down.

Tell me what y'all think!

Nice fishing toy, it does look sweet.
How long is it and approximately how much did you pay for boat, motor and trailer? It looks new, is it?

I'm happy with it, I actually have yet to see it. I just gave my dad $ and told him to pick it up for me since it was in Newport Beach, and I'm still at school in TX.
But its a 9' BW Tender with a new 2012 Yamaha 6hp 4 stroke, not sure the year of the hull though. I paid $2,500 and its in like new condition.

That's a nice looking rig, do you happen to have any pictures of the wheels? My boat does not have a trailer so I need to figure out a way to get it down the beach or down a launch ramp without dragging it.
