26 inches, light and fast. Efficient point A to point B, Not the right kayak for most people.

I'd buy it... Seriously if I didn't have six kayaks, at that price I'd go get it right now. In still might go buy it.

That said it's a sit on top kayak built on a sit inside hull. That means it's super fast but very tippy compared to your average sit on top kayak.

Fast doesn't really describe it though. The CD Kestrel is Kevlar, 14ftx 26 inches, built on a streamlined fast sit inside design hull. I've never paddled that one but I have an CD Altura which is bigger wider and heavier and it's fast. That kayak is probably the fastest non peddle SOT kayak you can buy.

Yeah not much of a fishing kayak but it would be fun to tour with, especially on flat water.

Dude that thing looks sick. Looks like it would be a fun KISS rig. Bring two poles, one to troll with and a big ol jog stick. Cruise around and chase birds like mad. Hell, I love just kayaking and that would be a blast. Not to mention its only 30 l s!!! You could carry it anywhere.

Is it fiberglass construction? Is that why it's so light?

i'rm not getting the yak. as much as id like to and even use it to cruise the bays and maybe troll s swimbait, i cant throw down $500+ on it and not be able to feel safe about loaning it out to fish open water or load it down. i dont even know the weight rating. im about 240, and have 38" inseam. so it might be a tough fit. ill stick to my X factor and keep saving for a PA.

Is this to go in addition to a Fishing Kayak you already have or are you looking for a low priced one so you can get into Kayak fishing?
