OEX and Kayak Fishing Supplies, along with Malibu Kayaks, Lowrance, Surf to Summit, Bending Branches, Ram Mounts, and Yak Attack have donated an amazing kayak package valued at $2,000.00 to be used in a 4th of July raffle to benefit Heroes on the Water.

Tickets for the one of a kind Red, White and Blue Malibu Kayaks X-Factor Ultimate Fishing Package are $5 and can be purchased at OEX Mission Bay, OEX Sunset Beach and on-line at Kayak Fishing Supplies through July 3rd 2012. The winner will be selected and announced on the 4th of July.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Heroes on the Water!

Buying multiple raffle tickets increases your chance of winning. there is no limit to the amount of tickets one person can purchase. Every 25.00 can provide a full day of healing to a Vet, that's only 5 tickets!

Hamachi, I'm not sure on the tax thing I'll see if I can get an answer from oex on it for you. As far as tickets go we are just entering your info into a spreadsheet and assigning #s based on how many you purchase. Those numbers will go into a randomizer for the drawing and the winning # will be associated directly with your name.

You don't have to be present to win, and OEX has even offered to ship the boat if the winner is not local.

I spoke with OEX today and they said that they changed the system to where it wont be charging tax. Let me follow up with them again.

Taxes should not be charged as this is a charitable donation.

All tax issues are resolved. I tested the system myself and I was not charged any tax.
