Found this today, unsure when it happened. Whats the best way to prevent additional cracking ?

Drill a small hole on the end of that crack, it should stop the crack from growing. ;)
Also, the cause could be that the screw there was too tight, perhaps loosen the all screws abit to relieve some stress.

maybe back the screw out it may be over tightened. Is it anywhere near the hatch hinge or lock? may be a stress point.

yeah skip the beer bring a thermos with a few monsters/red bulls and some hard liquor keeps me going and less room haha fits nicely in this cup holder I have on the PA and then you can wash your hands in the integrated kitchen sink they built in the new 2012 model

Yes, it is fairly common to find cracking there. That has been a notorious thin spot on a few batches of the tanks.
Take Deefeesha's advice and drill a tiny hole to relieve the stress. Then add a little marine goop and you should be good to go.

suggestion is don't use the bait tank as a porta potty - it was not designed to sit on and hold more that 50lbs...

Best advice right there crack head. Bummer George, I've never seen that before. Didn't know porta potties were that fragile. :rolleyes:
