That's pretty crazy. I've hear people say Wahoo do that at times. Can you imagine a 40 bound creature with a mouth full of very sharp teeth launching in your direction? Duck and cover man.

in reviewing this footage I give the angler a big thumbs up for having the
composer to take up the slack in the line during flight...cool video....

I used to fish for those when I lived in Florida, lots of people have been seriously injured by 'Cudas jumping at them, hooked or not. Worst I recall was a guy shrimping on the bay with a headlight on at night, 25lb Cuda jumped at him and hit him in the neck, mouth wide open.
