Fri (6/1) Slow day at Dana Pt.

Overcast skies, choppy seas, water temp 68*, and 4 1/2 hours without a bite. Very slow, indeed. But....

There doesn't seem to be a best one for hali (3xswivel dropper loop, sliding egg sinker, drop shot, and others)-I've nice hali on all when they're good and ready. The drop shot is what worked for me this time. I always use a trap hook with large sardines and macs.

That fish was measured at 46 inches, 30 lbs...still stoked, that one is gonna be hard for me to better, but I sure am gonna try...great to be on the water
with everybody this weekend...
