Stayed out late with the Misses so didn't head out to DP as planned. Got out to M street at around 9ish. On the way out saw a couple guys coming back in sea sick and complaining about rough conditions. I forgot 2 of my rod leashes so I didn't want to risk it and decided to fish the barge. Surprisingly not even a single bite for about an hour especially on good size anchovies. Once the chovies ran out I wanted to try out trolling with a couple of dines. Couple of heavy hits but no Butts for me. Did caught my first Spottie tho :)
question? When you get a bite when you troll do you guys stop pedaling? or do you go at the same pace until the your reel squels?
