When i record in 1080p the feed is very choppy and movement of the subject is almost robotic like. I updated it with the latest firmware. I used 2differnt type of sd cards one pny and the other sandisk and both are class 10. Did i get a defect? Or in order to take action shots i gotta lower the resolution? But wouldnt that defeat the purpose? Any thoughts b4 i call gopro?

Probably your computer itself. I have an older HP and I get the same thing your talking about. My sons newer HP has no problems. The Go-Pro website shows the systems requirements and low and behold my older unit doesn't meet them. Worth checking.

I have the same problem from time to time and I too have an older model HP. I do notice that once I edit and save my final version of the video it comes out fine.

Get more RAM for your laptop. Go pro shoots in hi def, 720p or 1080p, which takes up gigs of memory. Try upgrading to 8-16 gigs of RAM, which is actually a cheap investment. Go to Chipmerchant or Newegg for more memory to speed up your computer to handle hi def video, raw photo files.

yups that was the problem :( time to beef up my old dell
This worked for me several years ago. I couldn't watch the videos from my Canon 5d MKII. I'm not sure if there is a better fix nowadays.
