Does anyone know where I can find the paddle clip that comes with the new PA12. It clips on the rail of the PA, keeping it out of the way. I like the design, just can't seem to find it. I've googled it I promise

what I use on my PA14 is a set of oar holders from Outcast pontoon boats they just strap to the rail and hold the paddle fine. I am at work now but tonight I will take a picture and post it.:linesnap:

If you want a free one there's a complete paddle from a PA 12 floating around La Jolla somewhere. Seriously though, I would reconsider using those paddle clips. I've got a PA 12 and since I've had it I've had issues with the paddle popping off and dropping in the water. Luckily every time I've noticed it happen, that is until this past Saturday while out at La Jolla, I looked down and my paddle was missing. No idea when or where but it was gone. Luckily, the surf was small so landing without it was a non issue.
On a side note, anybody have a paddle for sale?

There's the extra velcro strap that goes around it to keep that from happening. Fastlane doesnt sell them

I actually had a bungee permanently attached to the handle that I just wrapped around the paddle after clipping it to the handle, but the one time I forgot to do it...
Not trying to talk you out of it, but at least you'll be more aware of it if you do end up finding the clip. Once I find a new paddle I'm going to figure out something that keeps it towards the inside of the boat. Probably just break it in half and slide it under the bungees in the back.

The best thing I have come up with is breaking down the paddle after breaking threw the surf and since you already have 8 built in rod holders.
take the two peaces of the paddle and put it in your rod holders on your crate or bait tank since being in kelp you really only need one half of the paddle. safe, easy, and out of the way

the clip they are using on the 12 is made by Scotty. We have a bunch on order. The velcro was a nice addition, easy to add yourself.

If you go to any store with an automotive section, like Target or Walmart you can find the velcro strips there. They're generally used for keeping wires together, like coiled up extension cords. I actually use the same exact strips to tether my rods down. I put a caribiner on one end of a bungee, and the velcro on the other.
Andy, do you have a price on them?
