View Full Version : Notice about recent stepped up house cleaning / user banning activities

BWE

A couple of clarifications in light of our recent efforts to do some house cleaning.

All registered users will see the notice once they log in. We believe we clearly defined the core of our clean up initiative inside of the notice itself.

Once you read the notice, you can click on the red X in the upper right corner to make it go away.

BWE Community, please help us enforce this new "no BS policy" by reporting any post that you feel is against what we're trying to do. The best way to do so is just click on "Report Post" button on the lower left corner of that user's reply - moderators we'll get an automatic email alert:

If you are getting intimidating PM's after posting a report, please forward them to either BWE, Iceman, Lambadmin or Siebler.

We'll review as soon as we can and act accordingly.

Users that got banned - your first ban is of a temporary nature. It will expire in 7 days, after which your BWE account will have normal forum access restored. If you continue to publicly post comments that continue to demonstrate attitude that got you banned to begin with, there will be no more warnings - you will promptly be banned from BWE permanently. No exceptions.

Thanks all!

I am glad BWE does look after their members and try their best to keep this community as much as family as possible.
A lot of us are salty but some more then others.
Also try to keep it somewhat clean as for many members do have kids.
I haven't been a member on here long but in the short time on here I have seen some people get it harder then others.
Sometimes just swallow your pride and let things be, it is better to keep your account then say how your feeling when your heated!
:cheers1: we are here to catch fish not fight.

I'm very glad to see this happen. BWE has been a great place to come to chat and learn the Kayak fishing sport. I'm glad to see that it's becoming more what I remember it when I first joined and not like BD that it seemed to be going towards.

I have learned so much from many on here and concider all of you my friends. I can't wait to hit the water with you all some day.

Awesome, have the forums been closed to public so you have to be a registered user to view topics? I think I noticed that when I was logged out. I think that is a good move as well.

People may feel easier posting if they know there's not 100+ guests viewing.

That's why I love this site. It's the ONLY site I've been on that doesn't tolerate the B.S. from those who wish to share and inform.
KEEP ON ROCKIN' BWE. :you_rock: :luxhello:
