Automatic bilge pumps?

Has anyone installed these types of bilge pumps and are they reliable?
I think I'm finally tired of dealing with my leaky Stealth 14.

If you do it yourself, just make sure the outflow tube is in a position above the waterline that it will not allow water to accidentally drain into the kayak when the pump is not on. Also, anything electrical will fail. Don't use this as your only way of getting the water out.

One way valve would be good too. I think the best thing to do in combination with the one way valve, is to put the exit hole in a position that will not allow water to enter, but also in a position so that the tube inside the kayak can make a loop so that it is higher than the exit hole. Kinda of like an upside-down drip loop, if that makes sense. Basically the water would need to run uphill to enter the kayak.
