GF and I decided to spend the day at San O on Sunday. I worked an area just outside the surf line which had a little depression going from 12 to 18 feet. I had some fresh dead with me but nothing showed any any interest in them, except a 5 ft leopard. I worked the area for a couple hours with a 1/2 oz jig head tipped with a Gulp Nuclear Chicken curly tailed grub. Had a nice pick on small sandies and calicos, but also got 5 smalibuts, so I knew momma was in the area. I finally nailed her around 11:00 am.

She was 44" long and pegged my 40lb spring scale. It's a new PB by over 10 lbs.

yea I know ..."CHEATER"
Is that the new PA 27?
Old Man in the Sea
07-31-2012, 09:01 PM
Exactly Greg... good news is that the PA27 comes standard with the new
Hobie Evolve Torqeedo Motor Kit i-Series v2700 under the floor board.
It is alot faster/better than the standard turbo mirage drive.
....the only downside as I see...is the recharging process............................ 116 batteries are a bitch to offload and recharge every night...
