A couple weeks ago while launching at LJ I was paddling through the surf and the end of the paddle broke off and sank to the bottom. I just had to paddle it with the one side through the surf. Wow! I am glad the surf was not kicking. ffice:office" />
Well after talking with a fellow kayaker and researching on the internet I found that some of the older Hobie paddles had some problems with the end braking off. Some people only used the paddle once and they broke.
So I took my paddle down to OEX Fish & Dive in Oceanside to Rick. He said he would take it to Hobie to see if they would replace the paddle. Well two weeks later Rick had a new fiberglass Hobie paddle for me! I was stoked! It is always great to buy a product from a company that stands by their products.
Way to go OEX Fish & Dive in Oceanside and Rick for making it happen and Hobie for standing by their products! :you_rock: :cheers1:
