Offers some versitility when it comes to getting comfortable and moving about.I'm trying to keep an open mind since I have low back and leg issues. Second pic is of a guy in Ca. that out a trolling motor on it and set it up for ocean use.

where does the seat go...looks like it will hold quite a bit of water...
I don't know about being out in the swells with it, unless it had a big bilge pump...I am sure it would be fine for inside the bay though...

They post some videos of guys going thru the surf and ocean use but your right it appears their audience is more calmer waters. I bet it wouldn't be to difficult to adapt a Hobie PA or Jackson Cuda seat for added comfort.

Have you road tested a PA yet? I know they are spendy but health and comfort are reasons to maybe spend a little more...I am teetering on a PA myself...

Don't think i need to spend the money on a pedal type kayak when I already know my legs won't allow that kind of perpulsion system. No need to buy parts I won't ever use. That's why the Jackson Cuda is also interesting.
A paddle boat with a good seating arrangement.

I've seen pictures of those and thought the look like good fishing kayaks. Bit like any ope SIS I would be concerned about flooding during surf launches and landings. The stand up paddling option looks sweet and the flat stern beween the hulls would take a motor pefectly. Just depends on what you want t for. Maybe not idea for LJ, but it would kick ass is bays, lakes, calm rivers, of ocean flats. Almost perfect for large mout bass fishing. Mike
