Waiting and waiting for the lobster opener....

Really wanted to get out there and get some sweet meat.....


Soo....

.
.
.
.
.
Decided to go to my regular spot and see whats there, maybe get some crab.






Long story short, there were A LOT of nice lobsters all over the place!:D:D:D



Big and Many.:)




Didn't think that I would bring any home but got greedy, brought two of these guys home before the opener. Don't worry, I have NEVER seen any DFG guys at this spot. EVER.



Man did they taste good

I might go again before tomorrow night, want to avoid the crazy opening night zoo out there. Good luck to all of the Lobster boys out there. Hope you get some.:p

He's messing with us. Go back and read the original post. Nowhere does it say he caught them. If you read carefully, dissect what and how he wrote. You will see that he conned you into thinking he was poaching not getting them at the store. Good job Matt. I had to read it twice before I figured it out. Course the first time I wasn't paying that close attention.

ya, how'd you cook 'em up? that looks pretty good. I usually steam them for about 8 mins to firm up the meat, crack it open then fry it. NOMS!!!

Cut a line (scissors work well). Down the middle. Pull the meat out, it will separate from the shell fairly easy. Leave the very last part by the tail attached. Close the shell and and place meat on top.

Makes for a pretty nice presentation and very easy to serve.

I just put salt, pepper and a Mexican dry seasoning on top. Serve with butter on the side.

Bake for about 30 min on 350, or until the bottom of the meat is all white and not clear.


The really tiny ones work best, under 4 inches preferred.:D
