First off on Andy's and my Adventure Island trip out of Mission Bay I pushed the kayak off the beach and climbed in then realized my Blackberry was still in my pocket. Took it out removed the battery and put it in my dry bag. HA HA got back and it was dead. Went on to the Boost site and low and behold they had a new phone available

Taken it on the water sitting on the rod pod and taking pics

No problems Though for us old people the touch screen is a mystery!

Ed and I have made a couple of trips to Mission Bay and the spinnerbait action has been of the hook

And the 3 Inch BH on Warbait heads and My trusty Fluke have been killing it (Uni Butter of course)

Made a couple of trips to Cherry with mixed success and Newport for some real tough fishing.

Gone to post up my reports more timely Next week Corona Del Mar kelp action

Just an FYI - you can give any phone the waterproof feature for around $60. And if you are in the LA area, they can do it same day if you make arrangements...

Thanks for the report and pics. Couple questions from a saltwater rookie! Where did you guys launch from and are the fish keepers or do you catch and release, how big do they have to be to keep? Sorry to hear about your phone, a toilet got mine last year :(

Steve,
Nice report. Looks like you've been getting some chunky spotties. I could have used one of those phones six months ago when I killed mine at LJ.
