The rope on my nets have lots of kinks and twists. I coil them well and then when releasing the nets, the kinks and twists cause lots of tangles and knots and then I'm screwed. What do you use to coil the rope?? Looking for small and lightweight!

If you use the extension cord holders from Home Depot do a figure 8 wrap. That way you are twisting equal in each direction.

Learned that from working guest control at Disneyland

Imo,do yourself a big favor and look into solid core braided
polytron by Sampson, there's virtually no memory in this
rope. I have the # 9 in blue but a size up would probably
fit my catcher mitts better.

It comes in 1200' spools so get a buddy to split the cost.
I cant believe I went so long without this rope. the cord
holders work good as well but this rope coils well if you
choose.

Gotta love that blue Sampson rope....even in 200' lengths it coils easily...get rid of the Red Promar rope!
Finding a rope with very little MEMORY is the key to rope management!
That yellow hollow 3/8" rope from Promar that comes in 75' lengths is pretty good and it's easy to make loops in it.
