Looking for my first kayak. Think this would be a good starter?

This isn't a starter. It's a "last kayak you'll buy for 10 years" deal. You would save so much money on future upgrades.... Seriously. I've spent around 2.5-3 grand on my set up so far (includes poles and stuff), and I do not own a PA.

This would be a great deal for a first kayak. If I had the chance to do it over, I'd go pedal. :p And this comes with everything you need to get on the water and pull on some feesh :cheers1:

Its probably worth noting that the Raymarine A70D is a $1,700 unit... and that the Hobie water bottle is brand new!

If you are 100% serious about getting into kayak fishing and have the financial means to do so, then this would be a great starter (and finisher).

Short of getting a boat, there's nothing out there kayak-wise that is a more serious fishing-machine.

Or you could buy cheaper kayaks and spend more time and money progressing through different gear and spending more money in the long run.

How is this thing not sold yet? It's definitely the best deal I've seen on a PA on this board...
