View Full Version : Last minute MLPA voting question

If anyone is factually aware of politicians opposed to the MLPA or even politicians supporting the MLPA I'd appreciate your insight as to who these people are, so that I don't inadvertantly fill in a bubble tomorrow under some jackass (tend to think of most politicians that way) that supports the MLPA.
I know it probably would have been good to make this post a few days ago, but I will be checking this website later for your responses.
There are too many politicians I don't know anything about, so this will be a deciding factor if provided this information.
Thanks,
Aaron

The polls are open Tuesday, not Monday. If you had a fish finder you would know that.

Just Bustin' your chops :). You probably can't wait to vote and have your say.

Good one!
Thanks for the reminder. I want my "say" not to be a vote for someone in support of the MLPA.
No worries, I've had my chops busted a lot recently. I guess I'll play it safe and hold off on reports and my opinion ;).

If you are referring to us, we're not sure what you mean that half stick. Most of our rods are a little older, a couple of newer Seeker's mixed in. Maybe we're missing something. Thanks for the comment about the FF, if it is indeed meant as a compliment.

I guess much like all the popcorn comments around here, we'll be getting FF crap everytime we post on any topic. If it floats your 'yak, go for it.

Checked both and the didn't list local polititians as far as I could tell.

Again just buying your chops on the electronics.

Come on folks, some help out and put up a list.

If in doubt, vote republican, at least most of us believe in personal freedoms and the constitution.

doesn't matter who you vote for, just get out and vote. I hate hearing people say, "why should I vote? It's not like I will make a difference". Can't tell you how many times I've heard this.

Republicans are pro-fishing and they are offering lower taxes so you can buy a fish finder...Democrats are taxing the current fishermen so they can give cans of tuna to the people to lazy to fish and... well I better stop now...

Already read this, but thanks. I won't say what Presidential candidate I am voting for, but from a Californian MLPA standpoint it isn't as critical as who to vote for within our (CA) political offices open in this election. But, certainly, Romney seems to win the anti-MLPA vote. I'm a democrat, but come on, Obama looking forward to fly-casting for trout(probably won't even keep one for a meal) isn't a ringing endorsement for ocean fishermen wanting to keep their coastline open.
But, anybody with input on the Senate office or any other California position, even school boards, what the heel, your factual information on their MLPA stance, pro or con, may sway my already half-certain votes.
Thanks.
