Ed has been around forever, definitely a member here. I was quite jealous when he told me he was headed up there.

Fishing up there with Howard has long been on my list. Eventually itll happen!

I've been to alaska once, and it was awsome! I can't imagine how awsome it is kayak'n and camping out there, I would rather do that than stay at the lodge. I wonder what something like that costs?....

I did this trip last year and it is awesome. Our only problem is it rained and the wind howled for 5 days straight so we only had about a day and a half of decent weather to fish in. Most of the trip was spent under a tarp by the fire. This report makes me want to go back

For sure man. Howard was egging me on pretty hard about 5 years ago to move up there and guide with him. Definitely gonna have to go visit in the next few years hopefully before I bail on California for good.

Last time I checked, he was booked 2 yeats in advance. Howard inspired my kayak bungee configuration.

Ed is my hero,

He kicked my ass in a Bass tourney in LJ back
in 2007. He had the biggest bass, wieghing in
at over 7lbs. Good to see him fishing!

Hey, I am Ed, and yeah, I do not post much. Man of few words. I have fished with and around you guys for a long time. Great write up of an epic trip by Bill from Seattle, as good a fisherman and fishing partner you can ask for. If anybody is interested in doing this in the future and need some info, feel free to shoot me questions. Tight Lines, Smoke.
