The cart seems pretty nice that you can flip it onto the trunk to load a kayak easily. Does anyone load their kayak on their car this way or simply pick it up with brute strength?

It's a bit pricey, anything else that does something similar?

They are the best. I have had mine for a little over a year now. If you have to trek across a lot of sand with a loaded kayak you will appreciate the fact that the tires don't dig in. If your on the fence they are well worth the money.

The beach kart one looks good. I'm guessing it'll still fit inside the sit on top kayaks.

If I take the wheels off both will fit inside the front hatch of my revo, but I usually just strap it down in the back behind the live well.

Worth considering this. (http://palmettokayakfishing.blogspot.com/2011/04/diy-bulletproof-kayak-cart-build.html)

I built one earlier this year, works great. It's collapsable if you wanted to stow it away inside the yak. Personally I just walk it back to the car (in case I get lucky and nail that monster fish, it's got to go somewhere!). It's not the most beautiful thing in the world, but it gets the job done. Not the best on soft sand, but its not terrible by any means. I don't have a ton of money, so this was perfect for me.

MrM, that looks nice. I'll give that a try.

If you go PVC I suggest using schedule 80 not 40. Much stronger. I broke my sch40 PVC cart, if you are going to pull around a heavy load of hoop nets ect on sand go with sch80. Those wheels will dig down into the sand rather than float on top of the sand. I have the wheeled mini beach cart but I think I would go with the full size one if I did it again.

if your pulling your kayak in the sand save yourself some time and mussel strain and get the wheel eez WZ1-KCB, these carts are the bare minimum if you have a PA.

i have tried several carts including pneumatic tires, they all suck compared to wheel ezz balloon tires when it comes to sand.
