Breaking da cherry Friday. Who wants to join?

:paddleersmilie:Finally, planning on taking my new to me yak out on Friday. I'm thinking Newport Harbor or Dana Point Harbor or ? Never been on yak before and want to do a lil fishing too. Anyone want to join in the festivities of watching a newbie take a dip into the drink :eek: Hopefully can show me the ropes of yakking and getting on some fish.

Earlier in morn preferable maybe @7. Go out for a few ours and be back by lunch or so. Gotta get back to IE so don't want to be stuck in traffic.

Fishing gear I have is pretty much light freshwater stuff, anywhere from 4-15 lb test.

Drovel through NP on the PCH yesterday. Looked like they were dredging in front of harbor island.
