Do they go together?

I'm thinking about putting a few little trips together involving sailing and kayak fishing. I have a 36' sloop and I'm thinking of sailing down to south island anchoring up for the evening, taking the kayak out in the morning and sailing back in the afternoon.

This is all very dependent on the weather of course.

In complete truth going to the Coronados would be a practice trip for heading out to San Clemente. Of course the San Clemente trips would be two night ordeals since its so much further out.

There would be room for an extra soul or two as well on these trips if they do pan out.....

But with the Coronados is it possible to take the Kayaks out there? Is it "worth the effort"?

I'd take it out before there's 7392829393 party boats for the summer bite

Count me in, I'll cook! Seriously, how about fishing in Mexican waters? What would one need for that and where do you get it?
