I am getting around to rigging my new (used) trident prowler 15. Got myself a HDS 5 and trying to decide where to put what. Sonar shield is obviously too far of a reach for me. Anyone want to share their rigged trident 15 pics?
Thanks for your help!:)

I will post up some pics of mine when I get home today. You can use the rod pod with the hds5.

Thinking about upgrading to new modular hatch cover. Not sure if its worth it
Also if you or someone can include a pic of your transducer mount that would be awesome!
Thank you so much folks!

I have a T13, it has a built in spot for it in the scupper hole, but my transducer changed when I got a new FF. Right now, I have it gooped on the inside, but I'm thinking of rigging it back to a wet mount again... The goop mount works OK, but it isn't as accurate.

Ok, this might be more than you were looking for, here are most of my changes from front to back.
Front Hatch: I got rid of the straps and used bungees instead. Easier to operate with one hand, and double as fish holder.

Here is how I connected the bungee with 2 of each of these connections on either side. Two fixed on one side.

And two that I wrap around on the other side (I used about a 1 inch shim piece to get the hooks up to an easy to wrap height.

Did the same sort of thing on the Sonar Shield, except both sides are fixed.

Here is my HDS5 setup in the Sonar Shield.

This pic will give you an idea of the location of the mount inside the shield. Notice the Stainless Steel Wingnuts used for quick install/ removal.

I used about 1 inch of shim material here too, to get the unit to the right height. I used a cheap plastic cutting board in several layers.

Here is my transducer location.

Again, I did the same thing to the Rod Pod with the bungees.

Here are the 2 types of connections (two fixed and two hooks again).

Here is another use for the new Rod Pod.

This is where I strap down my net, pump and knife. It is just inside the stern end of the Rod Pod to one side.

Sorry for the image quality of some of the photos, but I need a new camera (and better glasses). I have a pretty kewl bait tank setup that can be used on the Trident too. It has scupper pickup and exhaust with variable water levels using a Vittles Vault tank.

Holy crap, I might have to steal some of those ideas... I love the bungee!
Very nice Greg! Clean n cool! :cheers1:
I am in the market for a kayak. :D I wanna get something that will motivate me to ride it more often. Trident 15 is definitely on the list. It's just a nice ride all around.
