Is there an address for GPS use for those who have never been there? Cross over the Coronado bridge staying in the right lane. 1st right after passing the old toll booths, right at 1st stop sign. Follow road into parking lot. Park in corner by skate park. You can see it as you cross the bridge.

OK, I've just decided that I need to perfect my Pulled Pork some more. Last time I made it (14 hours in the smoker) it was greeted with positive reviews, but I still think it lacked something. So my experimentation is your gain - I'm going to smoke an 8 pound pork shoulder using a new rub and finishing sauce recipe on the 27th, and we will have pulled pork sandwiches for lunch on the 28th. (I've already got my vacuum packing and reheating technique down) - I'll have enough to feed 16 or so people easily, so don't worry about eating if you forget to bring anything! :drool5:

Bring your appetite - just put a 6.5 lb pork shoulder in Here Piggy Piggy brine, where it will remain until thursday night when I dry it off and dry rub it for a Friday night smoke. Sometime Saturday afternoon I'll pull it and make slaw to go with it. Bring your beverage of choice...

Wrapped up in towels and "resting" for several hours before I pull it. Finishing sauce, custom BBQ sauce made and the coleslaw is in the fridge doing it's thing. See you all tomorrow!

nice meeting up with you guys. It was nice to put some faces to the names. It was a good morning but could only manage 1 spotty over 2 lbs. out of the 20 + i caught. Add 5 orange mouth corvina and 1 short halibut. Maybe this summer we could do a bone fish tourny out of j street. tight lines:luxhello:

I know it's a "little" late, but it was nice meeting you all out there and it was a fun time. It's always nice when a bunch of us can get together, fish, eat and chew the fat.
