Looking for a friend to do some ocean fishing with, just finished installing my roof rack and finally I'm ready to hit the ocean and catch a few fish. Don't have any ocean experience and could really use some advice . If anyone is going near Malibu or long beach or close by any of these beaches please let me know really want to get out there . Thanks

if you're ever down in the newport area, shoot me a pm. i might also be making my way to the LB breakwall more often (south end, on alamitos side). maybe we could meet and launch around there.

All kidding aside, some of my closest buddies today I met growing up through these sites and going fishing.

I'm actually moving up into your area. Well, Ontario. So I'll be in your territory. Gotta get a yak again, but wen I do, I'll be more than glad to go fishing! I have plenty of ocean experience, but none in long beach so we'll figure it out as we go!

is there like a boat ho or ride share type section on here? Yes I know we are not going tandem but you get the idea...

if not I can post a thread every week with dates and all can post time, place they are heading out if they want company..

LA here but I keep my yak at my parents at Chatsworth. As soon as the weather gets a little better im off fishing. Don't feel like getting sea sick .

I'm in your area, Plan on hitting Cabrillo or King harbor in a week or two.

Cabrillo- Plan on hunting down halibut.

Let me know when you head out, Send info and Dates.
