When I was 10, my father and I watched the '75 World Series together. When Bernie Carbo hit the home run in game 6 to tie the game and Fisk waved the homer fair in the 12th, I was hooked for life. My dad I said we would go see a game in Fenway someday. Dad and I never got to to that game. My wife did a great job standing in for him today. An amazing comeback win the 9th that Pop would have loved!
In this memorial day weekend, thanks for your twenty three years of service including Korea and Vietnam Nam. Getting me to love fishing, that continues to this day.Sitting with your little boy and explaining the little things in a game that mean so much to the outcome, that's others won't see.
Thanks Dad for helping to make me the the son, husband and man I've become.

Happy Memorial Day to all on BWE that have served and that currently are serving. Your sacrifice and that of your loves ones is a debt we owe you all.

Stripers, easily 30" long. Just cruising around the docks waiting for bread or pretzels.
