Reliable Forecasts?

I was hoping to start a list of resources for checking the forecasts (wind, weather, swell, tide, etc.) Growing up I've always used Surfline.com because its what I am most familiar with but does anyone have some alternatives that they feel are more accurate or useful in different ways?

Scroll up and click the LJ Webcam page. There's a few good links to local weather and conditions. Also in addition to surfline I'll check out swellwatch and magicseaweed.

The best is to go outside, wait a minute, then come back inside. If your wet, it's raining. If dry. It's not. Either way, go fishing. The only thing I really look for is wind. The rest I can handle.

this is actually pretty much what i do... then i look at a few diff websites.

BIG SWELL = meh. you just ride some big rollers
RAINY = you're going to get wet anyways. just dont bring valuable electronics
HIGH WINDS = stay home. wind is the worst.

hahaha roger that, it does take quite a bit to stop me from going too. A reliable wind forecast is what I was hoping for when posting this. Surfline has lied to me one too many times and fishing from the yak in windy conditions is the only time I wish I had a boat.

What do most of you use to avoid windy days?

For wind. What I will do is just enter the location I want to go to and type in weather. I.E. La Jolla cove weather and it gives temp, wind, sun or rain

iWindsurf App is pretty good. It's been accurate for me for the most part to avoid the wind.
