Was on the water by 5:00. Tiny surf, warm water and foggy. Started catchin squid Not far passed the researve bouy. Had few macks aNd dines in tank as well. Fishing partner Andrew ironed out some bait tank issues and we headed for the corner. Andrew got called in to work about then and he headed in. Real Bummer. Water was 72 and blue. Lots of bait and good curret. Felt like late summer. Started seeing mako sharks and molas jumping. Anyway, went every where, tried every thing for 1 short cuda and 2 mako pick up and bite offs. Stayed till 3:00 hoping things would turn around. Nope.

Yeah, I still dont have all my bait tank issues ironed out. I feel like use of the marine goop might be in order. Yeah work is some real Bull $HI7. Im here today for 24 hours. Yeah it was fun though. I caught about a million baits just couldnt keep the bait tank running.

Damn right, Mr Patrick. My wife and 2 daughters can't get enough of the calamari. Those things are better eating than some of the fish you catch on them. Brought home about half a gallon. Kept a few macks for cat fish bait. Made the most of things.
Andrew, maybe try putting a 90 elbow on the tank where the inlet hose attaches. It will guide the hose down toward the water enstead of out in and an arc. You can also try threaded conecters rather than slips or hose barbs. Also there snap fittings in the garden hose area that hold well untill you need them to come off. Next time is rite. Mike
