Looking to make the switch from the bait bucket set up to having the plumbing done for the livewell that is preexisting in the newer model xfactor, it's the model with the two center hatches..the forward one can be used as a bait tank. Anyone else done this? Feedback and pros and cons? I have the pump, battery from existing setup, figure that can be repurposed

I have a stealth 14, with the bait tank in the front. I really like it as I don't have to reach behind me for bait.

Contact OEX. They do a slick job and if you're a DIY type they have everything you need to finish it right, including good advice.

I have it done and I absolutely love it and on really rough days even if I dont have bait I fill it, it seems to act as a little ballast to krep me slightly more stable

Where are you going to be splashing at? And are you hooking the drain up on the bottom?

Not really a good way to do this as the bottom of the hull is at a different angle as the bottom of the tank and there isnt enough room for multiple fittings.

As for the Pump kit we can do it for you for 100.00 installed no battery included.

Had Andy install mine at sunset beach and he did a great job!!! Now I just have to go use it, I am hoping to get to use it before I go on vacation in two weeks and if not I'll get to try it out at bishop,I guess it can keep my trout fresh lol

Cheers for getting back to me one and all, will probably set a time to drop the yak off and get it done. Would prefer to have it done by the crew at Oex where I got the yak
