Yea so I sold my PA without the vantage seat and kept it for myself. Yea right! Lol. This world we live in.

I should ask the guy who the Rhodes Scholar was that bought a PA without the seat - then sell them the Ingraham Street Bridge...

Just one of the reasons I have mine labeled in two places - in a conspicuous spot, and a hidden spot - just for douche bags who might be selling my stolen seat on Craigslist.

Good idea, Baja. Has anyone here lost gear to theft at the LJ launch? I've been fishing it occasionally for a few years but just recently bought gear worth stealing. I wondered if others have expirience with theft. It seems like a good idea to carry a couple rods/reels to your car instead of just leaving everything in the yak. Thoughts?

It's always my big dilemma - launching usually no problem - nobody on the beach but us dedicated fishermen. But when I land the beach is packed, so I have to pick & choose what I'm carrying to the truck, usually the GoPro and my best rod. Can't take it all, so I have to trust to fate on the rest. Everything in and on my yak has been labeled with weatherproof Ptouch labels with my cell number in case I have a yard sale in the surf.

I'd love to see if I could graft that PA seat onto an Outback somehow... Plastic Surgery!

Easiest way to call him out is to ask if he’s willing to provide a bill of sale. If its stolen he’s not going to want proof he sold it.

How about you assume that someone is honest unless you have evidence that they are not.

Just sayin, plenty of times we have guys on here making assumptions about things only to have it turn out legit. It's hard to take back words or posts about people.
