Entertaining as it is... it's bad karma to kill indiscriminately. Though an invasive species, many have been able to turn this into a positive by providing protein to the hungry...

Now if these guys donated the fish to the poor, that's another story;).

Too funny! In the end though I think the carp won. They took out everyone of those guys.

donated the 5 (maybe?) actual fish they killed?!?

they could have killed thousands and still not dented the potential for feeding the homeless.

The video IS pretty hilarious... I'm not directing any bad vibes towards you man. ;)
And yes, I think the fish won in the end.

For me, the clip reminded me of times past when I've seen fish killed for the wrong reasons. In particular, I recall an incident at a local pond I fished when I was 12 back East. During one August, there was a bluegill and pumpkin-seed sunfish population explosion, and they were being hooked on every cast. There were some Bass fisherman that thought they were a nuisance, and decided to step on and throw them into the bushes. I arrived the next day and saw and smelled the stink, and thought "what a waste"...

The image haunts me even now when I see people kill fish that they don't even intend to use. Definitely not kosher with the Great Spirit... and economically, such a waste.

I practice CNR 80% of time now, and used barbless hooks. I've seen Karma in action way too many times...:D
