View Full Version : 8-3: It's good to be back
Back from vacation and out from a PILE of paperwork - finally got out. Felt good to be on the water again. Catching a fish was a bonus. Caught this one deep in the kelp. Ken's and Gabe's posts kept running through my head: "never give up on a fish." Free spool, paddle around, crank, free spool, paddle around, crank ... I couldn't believe it when it popped out (with a mouth full of kelp). Thanks Ken/Gabe.

Ken,
I'm just keeping Andy's spot warm until he returns - or until you get back on track. How's that shoulder? Anything been happening in the pm sessions?

Arne, the shoulder is slowly getting better. :D Thanks for asking.
I launched this afternoon at 2:30 PM. Easy bait and beautiful conditions. I hooked up with Brad and Mike and fished our asses off until 9:00 PM………. For nada. Calico bass and biolume were the highlights of the session. :?
La Jolla seems a little off right now. Lady finger YTs and the Lotto WSBs seems to be all she wants give up right now.
Better fishing days are ahead of us. I love it out there in the fall.
