Its time again for the annual Newport Harbor Parade of Lights.
As always a small group of us are going to paddle out and watch Newport Harbor Parade Of Lights again on Saturday 12/21.
*Our seats /kayak location this year will be just north of the fun zone in Balboa. (about 200 yards north of the ferry crossing where the moored boats are) The parade comes right past us here. :)
Our plan is to arrive later afternon do a little pre parade fishing get our spots and enjoy the parade when it gets dark.
*DRESS WARM
*PFD IS MANDATORY
*LIGHT YOURSELF & KAYAK
*WHISTLE / VHF RADIO
*bring your beverages of choice and any snakcks you may want. :stoned:
**the parade of lights IS nucking futs busy on the water. YOU need to pay attention to boat traffic so don't get run over. :eek:
