Gonna be a looooooooong paddle. They usually sit offshore in deep water. Why get your yak covered in ink and your chi chis potentially beaked off. Go on a cattle boat and let someone else deal with the mess

Beak protection (http://www.internationaljock.com/stainless-steel-metal-hard-cup,3568.html).

So, I clicked on that thinking, "wow, I wonder what this is?"

Now every single ad, on every website I view is of male genitalia sporting a jock strap.

Where's the delete cookies button on this thing....

No humbolts this year...at least not yet.

Watch the counts as soon as they show up, you need to go asap. Good eating stuff as long as you process it properly.

Humbolts are not an every year thing and until more recent years were a rarity. In reality you do not want these things coming through because they eat everything in their path and can really ruin Rockfish and Sandbass populations especially.

As for catching them when they do come through, go do it on a sportboat or PB, its way too much hassle and even potentially dangerous on the kayak if you want to really target them.

Personally ill stick to market squid. 10000% better eating IMO.
