10 of us went up last weekend. Fishing had been red hot ..........until we showed up and turned off the bite. The weather, scenery and great company more than made up for the lack of fish. 25 degrees at sunrise warmed up to nearly 70 both days with limits of blue skies and sunshine. Some guys caught browns and rainbows. I lost a couple, but never landed one in fishing 16 miles of the river in 2 days. I am sure I will go again next year! Steaks all around at Jacks and back in the morning for breakfast. :D

Beautiful Video, and thanks for sharing!
How do you reunite the kayaks with the cars/trucks to get back to civilization?
Do you guys park something downstream before heading upstream? Maybe one unlucky soul paddles against the current to get the car? :p

Day one we paddled 8.2 miles from Line Street to Warm Springs and day 2 from HWY 6 to Line Street 8.4 miles. We would shuttle cars down, so you can do this with 2 vehicles.

Looks awesome! And T-Shirt weather even better. Might try to do that sometime, thanks for the post.

great video. I brought a PA14 to the lower a few years ago. It was difficult to maneuver the big yak. Looks like you guys had much better time floating with smaller boats. We even had a few pontoon boats and it was difficult for them as well with the bends and currents catching the boats and spinning them. Nice area to paddle. Looks like you guys had lots of fun none the less.

Another great report....
I'm surprised the fishing wasn't wide-open....

Wow. Incredible. I would love to do that one day. Soon. No mirage drives in that river I take it?! I have to say though, through this fantastic web site, my passion for kayak fishing is fed sometimes vicariously, but soon a reality. Makobob will introduce me to kayak fishing Baja in March. Siggggghhhh.... one trip at a time!
Nice video!
